Movie nights, photo nights, or watching the grand final on the big screen, projection at home is great fun for all of the family.
Here are a few tips to help you with your home cinema set up:
Choose a Projector
- Somewhere between 900 & 2000 ANSI lumens. You'll need a completely dark room with a 900 ANSI projector, while a 2000 ANSI projector can cope with a light or two on.
- 16:9 native aspect ratio recommended
Choose a Screen
- Choose a screen size that is in the mid-range of your projector's zoom. The biggest possible size will give the worst possible image
- Comfortable viewing distance is somewhere around 2.5 – 3.5 the screen's height back.
